The Power of a Facial !!😍

February 21, 2019

No matter your age or gender, your body’s largest organ is your skin. If you want your skin to look its best and stay healthy, you need to take care of it. Healthy, good looking skin begins with skin care. Facials are an essential ingredient of your overall facial skin care program and you will love the benefits.

It’s also never too early to share with your daughter or son the practice of good skin care and the benefits of a facial. I remember receiving my first facial steamer as Christmas gift when I was 13. I didn’t realize it then but it was one of the best gifts my Mother ever got for me. As she was always preoccupied with teaching her girls (3) how to care for themselves properly, we always knew that under the tree there would be some sort of “beauty” gadget (manicure or pedicure set, electric hair curlers, blow dryers, hair dryer, etc…) She didn’t have the money to send us to a spa, but she had plenty of “love” to provide us with the tools and teach us how to care for ourselves. long before we understood what “pampering” oneself was all about.

What is a Facial?

A facial is a spa therapy and massage that leaves your skin cleaner, softer, younger, and truly transformed. Facials can help clear clogged pores, quench parched skin and remove dead cells. Facials involve some massage which aids in blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. The facial massage also helps to relax facial muscles which can slow the onset of wrinkles on the face. Puffiness reduction, sagging in the face and skin cell renewal are additional benefits from these massage techniques. Always remember to include your decollete area throughout the process.

What are the Benefits of a Facial?

Facials help reduce the impact of sun exposure, smoking and other environmental factors as well as incorrect product use.

Women are more susceptible to aging due to stress. Facials help reduce stress. While stress is quickly rising in number to the premature aging process, it can also act as a rosacea trigger, shorten the life of your skin cells, aggravate acne and other skin inflammations.

During your facial, your licensed esthetician, will recommend appropriate skin care for home use to help you continue the benefits of your facial and correct ongoing skin care issues.

A transforming experience, getting a facial is an enjoyable and relaxing treatment. Leaving you feeling pampered, relaxed and amazed at your new facial glow. However, if you are not able to always enjoy the benefits of a professional facial, you can easily give yourself a mini home facial monthly and treat yourself to a professional facial seasonally or at least 2x a year (after winter and after summer). The results will still amaze you.  .... Learn How
